Description

The device is used to disable the selection of solar sell in the inverter configuration based on input N0%. This disables the feed-in to the grid. The condition is the correct connection and adequate configuration of the inverter. The second function is to disconnect the inverter (noted as error F19), where the inverter itself stops production.

Connection

  1. The device can only be used with batteries that communicate via CAN and hybrid inverters of the Deye brand.
  2. The device connects to the BMS port in the inverter. The communication cable from the battery connects to this converter, and the CAN bus passes through it. To connect to the inverter, use an 8-core patch cord. The power for the converter is supplied from terminals 7 and 8 of the right terminal block of the inverter (12 V). After connecting the power, an LED next to the power terminal block will light up.
  3. The Modbus address of the inverter must be set to address 1 (01) in the Advanced settings.
  4. Input N0% and OFF are activated by connecting terminals (never connect external voltage to the terminal). Activation of the input is confirmed by an LED that remains lit throughout the activation. The command is executed in the inverter in approximately 6 seconds.
  5. To check the current state of solar sell, the settings window must be reopened, as the window does not refresh automatically. The OFF command is reported as error F19; after disabling the lock, the inverter must perform synchronization operations with the grid again.

The logic module (in connection with p.5.1 Appendix 4 PPDS; p.13.6 RfG) VM is equipped with a logical interface (input port) for interrupting the supply of active power, which allows for the interruption of active power supply at the output for five seconds after receiving a command to this port. The disconnecting element, allowing for remote disconnection, must be installed to remain functional even after the power disconnection of VM from parallel operation with DS and allow for the automation of this process.
