Description
The JA Solar JAM66D42-585/MB bifacial double-glass solar panel from the DeepBlue 4.0 Pro series is rated at 585 W with 22.6% efficiency. It is built on N-type TOPCon cells and is intended for commercial and industrial roofs as well as large ground-mounted plants. The rear side also captures light reflected from the roof or ground, which raises the energy yield.
N-type cells barely lose power to light-induced degradation, and the improved temperature coefficient (−0.29 %/°C) keeps output higher on hot summer days. Both sides are covered with 2 mm glass. The manufacturer gives a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty: no more than 1% loss in the first year and 0.4% per year after that.
