Description

The battery box is designed for the parallel connection of 4 batteries and 1 inverter at a voltage of 48 V DC. The box is equipped with 100 A fuses for individual batteries and 250 A for the output to the inverter. It is well-prepared for the installation of input and output cables thanks to the triple openings on the bottom side of the box. A disconnect switch for DIY installation is included with the box.

Do not switch on or off under load. Interrupting under load will cause contact burning and subsequent damage to the device, which is not covered by warranty. Improper handling poses a risk of transitional resistance and, consequently, fire.

Installation and Connection

  • Always work with the device de-energized. Installation of the device may only be performed by a qualified person.
  • The device is intended for indoor use at temperatures from +5 to +25 °C and humidity up to 95% non-condensing. Do not place above heat sources, such as inverters.
  • The device is designed to be mounted on a non-combustible surface in a vertical position, ensuring that the cable outputs are directed downwards. This position is necessary for proper natural ventilation of the device.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings or the cable entry points.
  • Install and secure cables so that no tension greater than 3 N is applied to the screws.
  • Wires are connected using a cable eye with a 10 mm hole.
  • Use the correct wire sizes for individual branches or install fuses with a lower adequate rating. ANL fuse type.
  • Connect the battery branch (the first 4 branches on the left, 100 A) with a minimum cross-section of 25 mm2.
  • Connect the inverter branch (the last branch on the right, 200 A) with a minimum cross-section of 70 mm2.
  • The torque for tightening the connecting screws is 12 Nm.
