Description
The OlifeEnergy DoubleBox charging station is designed for charging electric vehicles at home, in private garages, and in boarding houses, and is equipped with two 5-meter cables with Type2 BASE connectors. It features a robust metal design and can charge electric vehicles with alternating current (AC) up to 22 kW on both sockets simultaneously (totaling 44 kW). The device is also suitable for outdoor use. It can be installed either on a wall or on a special profile that is concreted into the ground. With the external OlifeEnergy Smartmeter device, the charging station’s power can be dynamically managed, and excess energy from a solar power plant or a favorable tariff can also be utilized.
Charging can be initiated automatically after connecting the vehicle, identification using an RFID card, or through a mobile phone. The station’s power can be adjusted within a range of 0 to 44 kW. The station can be connected to HDO, integrated into a smart home, connected to a battery storage system, or integrated with other regulating systems. With the external OlifeEnergy SmartMeter device, the station’s power can be dynamically managed to prevent the circuit breaker from tripping during high consumption, charge from excess solar power, or at a low tariff.
