Description
The Tigo Access Point (TAP) is a key component of the photovoltaic module optimization system, which receives data from optimizers at a distance of up to 10 meters and a maximum distance of 35 meters. In case of a larger field, additional TAPs can be added, with each able to communicate with up to 300 TS4 units. The TAP works with Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA), which provides detailed monitoring and enhanced safety for module-level shutdown. Installation is straightforward, requiring no tools, and the maximum distance to the TS4 device is 35 meters. The device connects to the adjacent TAP using a 4-wire cable with a gauge of 18-22 AWG.
