Description
The GETI GWH02D 4000 W MPPT inverter allows for direct use of photovoltaic panel systems to power resistive heating devices such as electric boilers, heaters, heating mats, water heating, etc. The inverter is additionally equipped with an AC input, which allows the inverter to be connected to the grid voltage and heat water even when there is insufficient sunlight for heating.
The system is simple, requiring only the connection of the appropriate number of photovoltaic panels with a max. power of 4000 W and an operating voltage of 160 ~ 350 V DC, grid voltage of 230V AC, and connection to a resistive load, such as a heating element, electric boiler, electric radiator, or underfloor heating.
The direct current generated in the panels, which cannot be fed directly into heating devices, is converted into alternating current in the inverter, which can be used to power heating devices. The inverter has a priority input from the photovoltaic panels, and when this voltage falls below 120 V, the water heating will be powered by the grid voltage of 230 V AC.
